Beginner Painting Course for Adults (6-Week Series)
Acrylic + Watercolor Foundations

This 6-week beginner painting course for adults is designed for anyone who has always wanted to learn how to paint but didn’t know where to start. The course is taught by our talented artist, Dairoll, who holds a Master of Fine Arts and brings both technical expertise and a supportive, approachable teaching style to every class.

The course is thoughtfully structured to introduce two popular painting mediums in a way that feels approachable and confidence-building:

• Weeks 1–3: Acrylic Painting
   
• Weeks 4–6: Watercolor Painting
   

Each medium is explored over a full three-week period, allowing students to truly learn the process rather than rush through a single project. Students will complete one acrylic painting and one watercolor painting, each developed step-by-step from start to finish.

Throughout the course, students will learn foundational skills including brush control, color mixing, layering techniques, composition, and finishing details, while also understanding the unique characteristics and techniques specific to acrylic and watercolor.

By the end of the series, participants will leave with two finished paintings, hands-on experience with both mediums, and the confidence to continue painting on their own.

This course is offered at a special introductory rate of $185, making it an accessible way for adults to commit to learning painting in a meaningful, structured format. Our regular drop-in painting classes are $35 per session, six classes would normally total $210. This course provides more instruction, more guidance, and more finished work at a lower overall cost.

The $185 course includes:

• Six 90-minute guided classes (9 total hours of instruction)
   
• Instruction from a Master of Fine Arts–trained artist
   
• All acrylic and watercolor materials included
   
• Two completed paintings to take home (one acrylic, one watercolor)
   
• Small-group instruction with a reserved seat for the full 6-week series
   

This course is ideal for adult beginners looking to explore both acrylic and watercolor painting, build strong foundational skills, and enjoy the creative process in a welcoming studio environment.

Our Homeschool Art Class is a 6-week painting course designed for students ages 6–17 who want to learn foundational art skills in a supportive, creative studio environment. This structured series introduces students to two popular painting mediums while allowing enough time to truly learn the process.

The course is taught by our talented artist Dairoll, who holds a Master of Fine Arts and brings a calm, encouraging teaching style that adapts to a wide range of ages and skill levels.

Course Structure:

• Weeks 1–3: Acrylic Painting
   
• Weeks 4–6: Watercolor Painting
   

Students will complete two finished paintings, one in each medium, while learning essential techniques such as brush control, color mixing, layering, composition, and finishing details.

This course is thoughtfully paced to allow students to build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the creative process without feeling rushed.

Pricing: $100
(Regular kids classes are $20 per class — six classes would normally total $120. This course offers added structure and value.)
